Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Milwaukee and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines while prioritizing safety
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Milwaukee area routes and DOT regulations
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 6am-6pm)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
