As a Weekend CDL Driver, you will be the face of our logistics network, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and any issues.
- Uphold the company's safety policies and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service.
