Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations in Miami and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with dispatch and clients.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks (tire pressure, fluid levels) as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be willing to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
