Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and mileage records.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Ensure the cargo area is secure and protected from weather and theft.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and physical.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 5 years.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
