Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Execute pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading to guarantee secure transport and damage-free delivery.
- Utilize ELD systems to maintain accurate logs and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Maintain a clean driving record and demonstrate a commitment to road safety.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, uniform standards, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required (Clean driving record preferred).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a drug screening.
- Previous truck driving experience is a strong plus, but we welcome motivated new drivers.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle checks.
