Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes within the Baltimore area.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to ensure cargo integrity.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Complete daily logbooks and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (Class A preferred for this shift).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Current DOT medical card and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Willingness to pass a background check and a drug screen.
