Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining excellent customer service
- Manage paperwork including logs, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Cleveland metro area and Ohio highway systems
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) with flexible weekday hours
- Previous experience with hazmat tanker or flatbed preferred
- Immediate availability required for onboarding
