Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment while following safety protocols
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance issues promptly
- Support cross-functional teams in Dallas and Georgia logistics operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Dallas metro area and Texas highway systems
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with weekday availability
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance coordination
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
