Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Virginia
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route execution
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining excellent customer service
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass DOT physical
- Knowledge of Virginia roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 6 AM - 6 PM)
