Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
- Document logs, cargo manifests, and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun shifts)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proficient in electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Texas/Florida highway systems
