Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all federal and state regulations (DOT/FMCSA).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Colorado.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and weight distribution.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and potential overtime.
