Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) according to FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery stops and handle dock tickets.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card in possession.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as required by the schedule.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
