Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods within Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Represent Prime Logistics professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) and occasional holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
