Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for weekend deliveries in Cleveland metro area
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and ensure DOT compliance at all times
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure freight loading/unloading with proper documentation
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Represent company with professional conduct at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and Cleveland metro area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) with occasional weekday support
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Basic smartphone proficiency for mobile app communication
