Position Overview:

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and special handling instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) without major violations.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
