Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) throughout the greater Boston metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo is secure and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Navigate efficiently through traffic and construction zones to meet delivery deadlines.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
