Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, verifying freight and maintaining secure loads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (ELD) in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT card) and proof of insurance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday shifts).
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and cargo securement procedures.
