Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on Austin and surrounding routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (DVIR, Bills of Lading).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and shippers at each stop.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Experience in logistics, freight, or delivery driving preferred.
- Availability to work Friday through Sunday (weekend shift) as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with cargo handling.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
