Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries within Georgia and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using required equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle time-sensitive shipments with priority focus
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and Southeast routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening
