Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the cab and cargo area.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and delivery logs accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and work in various weather conditions.
