Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on designated weekend routes.
- Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and verify delivery signatures.
- Ensure the truck is clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical examination certificate.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local Albuquerque streets and traffic patterns.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with potential for overtime.
