Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for weekend-only freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes for timely weekend deliveries across Nevada
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun) with occasional holiday flexibility
- Familiarity with Nevada highway systems
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
