Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods per DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and acceptable background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
