Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend delivery routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route optimization tools
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area roadways and delivery zones
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation
