Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for weekend delivery routes across North Florida
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Accurately document delivery logs, fuel records, and incident reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Handle secure cargo and specialized freight as per client requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highway systems
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
