Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries within Fort Worth metroplex
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery routes efficiently to meet weekend schedules
- Submit accurate documentation and incident reports when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6am-6pm)
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
