Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Georgia and neighboring states
- Strictly adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure cargo properly and verify documentation accuracy
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro area navigation
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
