Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery and freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage paperwork including delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documents
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Sacramento metro area
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
