Responsibilities
- Operate Class A/B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently for weekend delivery routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via fleet management systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and California traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and basic navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible weekday availability for training
