Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) to transport goods within Louisville and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and pre/post-trip inspection procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metro area and regional highway systems
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Fri-Sun) with occasional holiday shifts
