Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/semis) for weekend delivery routes
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document all shipments and handle necessary paperwork accurately
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional holiday shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
