Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for weekend deliveries and pickups
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload freight with precision and proper equipment handling
- Adapt routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and traffic conditions
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Uphold company policies and DOT regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of Michigan roadways and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts with potential weekday availability
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
