Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional weekend routes
- Execute timely deliveries of freight while maintaining strict schedule adherence
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Apply advanced route navigation to optimize delivery efficiency
- Uphall all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Manage proper loading/unloading procedures with specialized equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Washington State roadways and regulations
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 4am-2pm)
- DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Experience with refrigerated freight a plus
