Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional deliveries and long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle hazardous materials (HazMat endorsement preferred)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HazMat certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of Virginia/North Carolina roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday)
