Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Louisville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to safety policies and defensive driving techniques
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized trucking facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisville metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook procedures
- Strong time management and customer service skills
