Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight within Ohio
- Execute weekend shift deliveries (Friday-Sunday) with on-time performance
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and customer communication
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment usage
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio highway regulations and route planning
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Basic computer literacy for e-logging systems
