Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local deliveries within Philadelphia metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload freight using proper equipment
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and route changes
- Maintain professional customer service interactions during deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area roadways
- Basic computer literacy for digital log systems
