Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend routes covering Oakland and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with precision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and traffic laws at all times
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely deliveries and route optimization
- Represent our company professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun + potential weekday coverage)
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmissions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Northern California geography and highway systems
