Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch team
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device records
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Respond to route changes and weather-related adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work weekends and occasional overnight trips
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb equipment
