Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Transport hazardous materials (HAZMAT endorsement preferred)
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Proficient with electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
