Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry vans and reefers) for local and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Safely load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adapt routes to traffic/weather conditions for on-time delivery
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Participate in weekly safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for weekends (Sat/Sun shifts)
