Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in all weather conditions while maintaining on-time deliveries
- Report maintenance needs and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts + potential weekday coverage)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
