Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) for weekend delivery routes across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight documentation and verify shipment accuracy at each stop
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and securement procedures
- Strong time management skills for weekend shift reliability
- Flexibility to work occasional overnight routes if needed
