Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections, vehicle maintenance checks, and document all activities
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and route optimization for weekend operations
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and DOT compliance requirements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional weekday flexibility
