Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated) to transport goods on designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections, safety checks, and routine vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and all traffic laws during transit
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and time management
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents promptly
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary using proper techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and navigation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities preferred
