Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for weekend deliveries across the Houston metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and minimize fuel consumption
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Houston-area roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and pre-employment drug screen clearance
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) and flexible schedule
- Basic computer skills for logging systems
