Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless freight handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
