Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) on weekend routes throughout Texas
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with occasional weekdays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
