Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries across Michigan
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while optimizing routes
- Represent the company professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and route knowledge of Michigan
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekday coverage
