Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for weekend deliveries across Washington state
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during all transport operations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and accurate documentation of vehicle conditions
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain timely delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with weekday flexibility
